I think it would be good if they arranged people in age groups next time!

Hopesanddrrams I know what you mean! It was certainly hard I managed to go in once or twice but it was difficult doing a more mature scene which I never done anything like before x

hopesanddreams wrote:I'm 11 and I'm 5"0 my audition was at 13:30 I found it odd that they put us in a mixed age group, I couldn't improvise because the scenes were about miscarriage and clubbing and hitting on girls, so it was really awkward for me.. Everyone in my group were 15 and above except me :S I didn't get past the improv
That's riddiculous!! Poor you!

Hopesandreams I think we should be proud of our selves for just getting an audition because there were so few U18s! It was obviously a lot tougher for us to get an audition and even harder to get through improv :)

You are always going to get tough improvs so it's best to try and work the so that they suit you. For example if it was drugs or miscarriage you could be the worried little sister. When I had my audition I tried to make sure I was the first person to speak so that I could decide the theme, it makes it much easier. It's such a game of luck in the RKA auditions i was very fortunate to be signed

Ok, did you go to the audition once or did you go to a second/third one before you were signed? Also what was your group like when you auditioned?
Thanks x

Hi everyone, some late feedback from my DD's 10am slot with RKA. She had a great time at the first improv - yes to some mix of ages and themes. She had a recall in the afternoon with script - again great fun. In the end, they say she has great potential and would like to see her next year...with some tips about what to work on. They called me on Monday morning so I was really impressed throughout with their communication and openness.
