We've just begun the rounds of attending open days for music colleges We went to the Guildhall School of Music and Drama on Monday. My dd who's 16 and doing her As's has her heart set on auditioning this year for a place for Vocal Studies. It all seems very daunting and a bit of a long shot given that there are apparently about 1,000 applicants for twenty places !!
Does anyone have a ds or dd at any of these schools ? And does anyone know what the main differences and advantages / disadvantages are between the colleges for Singing ? Also any insight or advice to do with the colleges or the application/audition process would be appreciated !
