changing agents

Hello
I know this has probably been answered befoe, but how easy is it to change agents?

DD is with a very well know agency but has not had an audition or work for over 8 months. She was accepted by another up and coming agency and though we were delighted that they were happy to represent her, we decided to stay with the current one for another year...
However we are now thinking that maybe we made a mistake and wondered how easy it is to change...she is in Spotlight (both agencys insist on this) so would that have to be changed too?
An advice would be greatly appreciated...thanks

VERY easy
if the agency has a notice period just give it once you have been accepted by your next agency, leave on good terms and then the next agent takes over the Spotlight page, putting their info on,(same pins)
If the agency has not notice period, just email and go.....

We have changed twice now and it has been fine, you never know if you are doing the right thing - go with your gut instinct and you can do no more

after a long hard think..decided to change, we are now in the process of changing to the new agency...We are really excited and while we know this does not gurantee any work, we feel that dd stands a better chance of something....

Anyone know what the usual notice time is at all?

The contract notice period with our current agent is 3 months; with our old agent there was no notice period at all, so I guess it must depend on which agency you're with?

Interesting topic.

We changed agents. Both are well known and established. Both source their jobs from the usual/same places. Yet within months it was apparent one got more submissions and castings than the other. Why is that? I'm not going to name agencies here, as that is not fair, but they are both known and established. Both agencies did not have a similar child so no competition from othres. Does it mean one has favourites they submit or one does something a bit extra to get castings or something else? I could understand if the child had grown/changed a lot or it was a year later, but neither apply.
