license for modeling

can anyone tell me if you need to obtain a license if you are only doing model work for one day shoot.

If you are getting paid and/or missing school then yes.

If not then possibly not depending on how rigorous your education authority are in interpreting the regulations.

Oh so if we can push it to saturday or half term then we would not need a licence. Unlike acting then and thanks for replying so quick :D

Is there no payment involved? As islandofsodor says, if you are getting paid then a licence would be required.

its exactly the same as acting 4 days in 6 months no payment and no school missed and you may be granted a licence free day/exemption (different LEA's call it different things.

Having students from Stoke, Staffs, Derbyshire and Cheshire the one thing I have learnt is there is no single definative answer always ask the EWO if you are unsure.

Thanks so much for info and it was paid but want us to take day off school, So we have pulled out due to start of school. So quiet all summer and as soon school starts things come in ](*,)
