disallusioned mum
Been searching and applying in vain for agents and auditions for my dd aged 8 years but we live in the north east and casting directors are intersted up until the point of giving our address and education authority feels a little unfair as travel is not a problem neither accomodation. My dd been accepted by an agent expressions has anyone have any experience of these? Everyone starts somewhere and its a catch 22 they need experiences to build a cv. ](./images/smilies/eusa_wall.gif)

Re: disallusioned mum
is the problem that you live too far away for cd's to be happy about the travel, or that your education authority is notorious for not handing out licences?
or both
or both

Life is complex - some of it is real, some of it is imaginary.

I live in the North East and we have a brill agent North East based. In the last few weeks my DS has met Kerrie Mailey, Julia Crampsie and Dan Hubbard, the latter 2 esp. very top casting directors. PM me with where you live in the Nort East and I will give you more info.

Can't vouch for other agents but know that Abacus and A&J will audition and take on kids from all over the UK. Obviously you have to be available to take your daughter to audition when called, often at relatively short notice. Pm me if you wish! Best of luck. Mx
