Just heard DD got recall for Italian Conti!! Videos submitted early Feb.
They advised they were hoping for onsite recalls, it would seem that the delay re communication was related to fact that they were waiting to see if onsite would be possible (it is not, will be a live zoom recall followed by zoom interview).

Perhaps it is similar story for those of you still waiting?
Hang in there, there will be a response!

Any tips for recall (dance) or interview?? It is her first recal.

I agree that the taping has taken hours and hours - much longer than preparing for a face to face audition but obviously saving on possible over night stays and days off school/college. Colleges are juggling face to face, Zoom and taped auditions and recalls/interviews so I know it can't be easy but their income from auditions is substantial (cost us a bomb!) and good communcation should be a priority. When DD had to contact Laine she put URGENT in the subject box. She got a very quick and friendly reply. Maybe just lucky!

Out of interest do they send a standard letter or a pack? We overlooked the Wilkes one as it looked like a party invitation or catalogue in a black envelope with gold handwriting  It sat on the side for two days ... Just in case we have missed it.....it is just frustrating they can't just respond and explain either way.

They send a standard letter out in a white envelope with the Laines Theatre Arts stamp on it.

Congratulations to your DD for her recall for Italia Conti \:D/!!! I’m sure others whose DC have been through this process recently will comment soon. I hope she does really well and gets the offers she wants.

Wilkes do send a beautiful black envelope with an offer inside so exciting if you get that so do open in - Laine was a thick envelope with all paperwork included (3 years ago so will be different now I’m guessing) !

On the Urdang audition support day they gave current numbers: 108 on degree, 26 on Diploma, 15 on Foundation and 30 on AVT. They said 2,000 apply across their courses. We had thought there were more. But they didn't say how many started on these courses or how many they would take this year but said numbers were flexible so sounds like they might take more. Could be worth asking if it's a deciding factor.

It’s good to see the breakdown. I got the impression from one of their many Instagram live sessions that they didn’t have a set number that they take each year. They said the final number would depend on how many people that applied. So like you said I think they’re looking to take more on this year.
