Easter holidays for me as I work in a school x but she has different holidays. DDs favourite place too x she crumbled when she got rejected from the BA X out of all of the auditions this is the one she wants x mind you how we will pay for it is another thing but if she gets that chance we will do everything we can x

We really must be running parallel lives! I work as a private tutor (used to teach in a school!) We too are going to have to pull out all the stops and then some more to pay for it if dd is lucky enough to get offered it!

Hopefully once this week is over they should start making offers for September intake
Hoping for everyone to get some happy news before Easter so everyone can start making plans - re Performers - my Dd was offered a place on the day back in January as have a couple of her best friends so some places have already been offered - she has several other offers and can't decided!! ](*,)

Thanks Marissa.
Has anyone's DC auditioned for NYT this year? If so what did they think of the audition and is it worth the money?

Good luck to all those waiting and watching the emails. Hope you all have good news before Easter.
DS still has three to go - so another three weeks to go before we are waiting and hopefully deciding.
Mountview will be the most nerve wracking as they do a cut after the first day of recalls then cut again down to the 38!

Final audition for DD today so a decision will be made soon. I feel grateful for sharing this life experience with her. A huge hug to all those parents out there who have supported their DC through the highs and lows, the moments of sheer pride and the support through tough times. May all our DC enjoy their training wherever they may be in September xx

DD auditioned for NYT this year again. She enjoyed it although doesn't feel she's got a chance x DD didn't enjoy it as much as last year and wasn't asked questions like last year. I noticed there didn't seem as many people there at her audition slot either x I wish they could let you know sooner x if by some miracle DD got in it would def affect her uni decision x

Hello

My DD has nearly completed all her auditions and has received a few offers, but we are uncertain whether to try and stretch ourselves financially and take up the Foundation Year offer at LIPA (there is no guarantee that she would then get onto the degree course - last year only 3 students who did the Foundation Year were offered places on the degree) or to take the safer option of a funded degree at Stella Mann. She is also on the reserve list for Bird and is waiting to hear from Performers / LSC.

We really want to make the right decision, as well as safeguarding her training.

Any advice would be appreciated - Thank you.

I remember the mountview recall so well this time last year
DS went on the Thursday and was offered foundation at the end of that day (which he was over the moon with) so he didn’t have to go on the Saturday x

Good luck to everyone xxx
