That's great. Sounds like the lists are all moving. Anybody that is waiting for Laine, they have got to the number two reserves

Hi All MY dd is on the reserve list at GSA so was wondering if any reserve lists have moved for Acting she so wants an offer but feel her chances are slim at such a top school

My DD has accepted her East 15 Foundation offer now. I'm relieved the decision is made. We were waiting on LAMDA but decided to not attend the recall for their foundation in the end, as we would not have been able to fund it. She is really excited to start and East 15. I'm just not looking forward to doing all this again next year!

Thank goodness for this forum - I now think I understand how the process works! Thanks everyone for your help. Has anyone any more news on the Laine shortlist please? This is my DD's preferred option and the wait is driving us mad. Thanks

What number was your Dd on the list? You can phone Sarah Carroll to see where they have got to. She's really helpful

She's number 9 - so I'm not sure if we'll be lucky. After the funding auditions Sarah asked not to be chased - so I assumed that was still the case. From what people have said in this forum, things might start to move again in June - so we're keeping everything crossed!

We're waiting on Reserve Lists too - email received from Bird today with forms to fill in to be on the Reserve List.
Waiting for Performers, Bird and Bodyworks - not enjoying this at all :(

Anyone know if there is likely to be much movement on Mountview reserve list?

I think there is still time for movement on reserve lists everywhere. It all depends obviously on when the people holding the offers make their decisions and how they approach things. I know of one person a few years ago that had 6 DADA offers for colleges but reserve for her favourite college. She held onto all 6 until she heard from her favourite college at the end of June. It did not seem to occur to her that if she made a decision between those 6 and just kept hold of her one or two, it would have freed up places at other colleges with a knock on effect.
Fingers crossed for all of you out there anxiously still waiting for news.

I don't know about the girls' reserve list for Laine but DS was number 4 on the boys' DaDa reserve list last year and did not get funding. I think they only got to number 2 for the boys. He was however told he was right near the top for the Mountview degree course reserve list and was actually offered a place on June 8th. Hope this helps and good luck to those still waiting.

Our DS was no 2 on the boys reserve list at laine last year. He got the call with the funding offer on June 18th and that is when we gave the bird funding offer up. His friend was no 5 on the list and he got the offer of funding early August. They are both there and enjoying every minute of it :o you have remember though that every year is different . We were told last year that there wasn't much movement on the lists. Hopefully this year may be different .! If anybody wants any further info feel free to private message me.maria.x
