Twins Training!

Post by twinniesmama »

Hi All

Been a long time lurker. I have identical DDs who are 9. We are now looking at secondary school options before they dropped the bombshell on DH and I that they want to audition for SYTS, Italia Conti and Redroofs.
Both have sung, danced and acted since they were small and been involved with lots of am dram (Panto at the moment!) I'm a typical biased mum but I don't have much experience of knowing what professional training requires of them. DH and I are happy to support whatever they are passionate about.

Has anyone got experience of dealing with both children trying to get places. It's bad enough to think about coping that neither of them getting offered a place, but I think one getting an offer and the other not might be worse! Or two offers for two different schools!

Thanks in advance!

hiya
when my dd was a full timer at SY there were a set of identical twins a couple of years below her..they have been extremely successful..
I would say go for it . I would imagine most of the theatre schools would love identical twins as they could be very successful in the business.

Good luck with whatever you decide xx
I believe that children are our future, teach them well and let them lead the way.......
