Would you cast a vote for Flo's song, please?

I've just heard that Flo's song 'I'm Wide Awake' is in the running for the Australan Radio Station's 'Stars of Tomorrow' top 20 for 2013.

This is because she got to No. 4 back in July. All the artists that have made it to Top 5 positions during the year get the opportunity to join the rankings for the year, so I guess it's quite competitive.

But we have never been accused of not being competitive, have we?

The charts are determined by votes, so you don't have to buy anything. The votes are via Facebook, so there's no cost to register a vote. But it's a knock-out process through 3 rounds, so it's going to take most of December and we're going to need quite a lot of support to get anywhere near the final chart.

Would you be prepared to help her, please?

I'll post the link when it goes live and offer reminders as often as I can without getting in everyone's nerves.

Thanks for all your offers of support for Flo - she is very touched that you are willing to help her.

I know I'll always do my best to cast a vote when asked, but I also appreciate that it isn't everyone's cuppa so I really appreciate that you are prepared to do this.

The voting opens on 1 Dec (Sunday) so I'll post a link to the voting page when it goes live.

You're able to vote once a day so, if it's OK with you, I'll post a few reminders too. I know how tricky it is to keep on top of stuff and we all lead busy lives, so I'll do what I can to be helpful.

She is up against some very established young artists who have management and a good fan base in place already, so she has done very well to be in with a shot at all. I don't know about you, but I'm fascinated to see whether we can help her to go further - this is all very new to me
