I've not heard yet - since it's a school day, I may have to pull her out for an hour if it's not one of the last few slots. At least school has always been accommodating so far!

We got into the docs last night, and it's nothing serious. She's full of beans today, but we're keeping her off school anyway just in case. At least that means we'll have more time to get ready for later on, and she'll be more relaxed.

Good luck with yours!

We just got home (blooming rush hour traffic!)

She said on the way home... "you know that thing [the monologue] we practised? They didn't ask me to do it. They did ask if we had anything prepared, so I did my poem, but I couldn't remember it all." Image

The poem was something she did for the LAMDA, six+ months ago, and we'd not practiced since.. Sigh ...

She's six, very outgoing and bouncy....

Looks like they were taking in about half a dozen kids in a session. Next ones coming in looked to be mostly teens, or almost-teens.

Not sure you have to worry too much - I'm sure at that age they are just looking to see whether they are friendly and capable of being directed. A lot of it will most certainly come down to whether they already have 'similar' kids on their books already, and may not have anything at all to do with how well they remembered their words.

aww yeah there was about 8 or 9 in ours but i think they put two time slots together because they were running late lol the group who were waiting after that looked early teens too. yeah it probably will come down to looks and personality more than acting ability&memory at this age, there wasnt ay similar looking in her age group there today- in fact they were all very different looking to each other!so they definatly wernt going for a set "look", but like u say itl depend what theyv already got on their books etc. i like the fact theyr so selective tho and actually meet the kids first because so many agencies i applied to just accepted her off her picture and didnt even want to meet her first! makes u think they probably just accept everyone lol!x
