Be patient D&D is a great agency to be a part of. And I'm sure your dd will be being submitted for jobs now she's been accepted :)

Thanks so its quite normal to wait this length of time for paperwork etc? I know they seem to be a great agency and are doing well just have to wait I guess.

My DS was accepted by another agency in March, too. We filled in all the paperwork when we had the photoshoot. I'm surprised you haven't had anything. I dont think they can put your dd up for a job if they are not legally representing her? I am no expert, but I would give them a call, just in case there's been an oversight.

I prefer emailing to ringing generally, because it is quicker and you can phrase things carefully. HOWEVER, I always ring my dd's agent (who is lovely!) as it helps build a strong friendly relationship and and its much more personal. And you get an immediate answer! It's also good to show you are interested and enthusiastic enough to pick up the phone. :D . If I haven't spoken to them for a while I might ring and say 'is there anything exciting happening at the moment?' and they don't mind that question at all. I think it comes across better than - 'have you put my dd up for anything recently?' You could just say that you wanted to have a quick chat as you hadn't spoken in a while and wondered how the application was progressing. ;)

Just another thought Cupcakes, the deadline for Spotlight entry is coming soon (1st June I think). You've had the photos done (and I assume you paid for them), so you are entitled to know for sure that your dd is definitely going to be included. Bite the bullet, give them a call. I really don't think you will come across being pushy (and that's something I worry about constantly, hence my tag!). Good luck and let us know how you get on :D

My dd went to the March Workshop and was accepted too. We had the photo's done and paid for Spotlight, but like you Cupcakes we haven't had a contract or confirmation that she'll be in Spotlight. I thought I may hear when the photo's had come through, but they were taken over a month ago. I purchased the disc from the photographer and I've had them over a week so I'm guessing Daisy & Dukes would have also received them. Hopefully we will both hear soon. xxxx

Hi guys, we're with d and d also and I wouldn't worry. We've only had positive experience (though ringing is sometimes quicker than emailing). They're very approachable and it's nice to know some napm's are with them too! :)

How do you get in contact with them about joining because apparently they don't have a website - so where can I find contact email addresses etc.

I gave them a call and they told me to email them and if they liked what they saw they would invite me to the workshop in July.
PM for the email address to apply xx

I have always been told by my DD's agent that children's Spotlight deadlines are in November, not June 1st??
