AUDITIONS STARTING
good luck to my dd who has her first audition today for nq performing arts at a local college. well i say local if she shes in its gonna take her about 2 hours to get there every day lol. this is it starting. she has one next monday too and we are still waiting to here for one. she did have a few other but decided not to go in the end as it was for acting rather than mt which is her first love. hope her few years out hasnt done her to much damage.

Re: AUDITIONS STARTING
How old is your dd? Is it a b tech she is doing at her local college or is she 18 and going on to do further training?STEFFYSMUM wrote:yeah dont get me wrong pg we are very happy just didnt expect to get offered a place there and then thought we would have had to wait a while

Re: AUDITIONS STARTING
shes 17 and its an hnc ?? does that make a difference. im not sure the way the english system works im not sure if thats equivelent to btec ??
Re: AUDITIONS STARTING
Not sure what a hnc is I'm afraid. You say your in Scotland? Hang on I will just look it up.....STEFFYSMUM wrote:shes 17 and its an hnc ?? does that make a difference. im not sure the way the english system works im not sure if thats equivelent to btec ??
Ok it says its a higher national certificate equivalent to the level 3 be tech. That's what my dd did when leaving school at college for two years. She is 18 this summer and will leave this year. When she auditioned for her course she wasnt told on the day if she had a place. We received a letter a couple of weeks later but I don't think it's unusual to be told on the day. I have heard of it before. My dd has a friend who went to a uni for an mt course and was told on the same day. So it's all fine.
Congrats to her.
