Covering letter no more than a page long, telling them why you would like to join their agency, what you are hoping to do with your life, maybe pick out the proudest couple of bits from your cv and finish off with a strong personal statement.

Don't worry too much about it, the headshot will decide almost everything.

Ask a friend to choose a headshot that they think "looks most like you". If you pick your own headshot you will be picking the one you most want to look like ;)

Thankyou very much. My 'headshot' was taken by me there is nothing in the background, will it be ok! or could i go to a photobooth at the shopping centre and get one done there?!

If you are an adult actor approaching an agency, you do need to invest in a professional-looking headshot otherwise I think you will be wasting your time in applying. Take a look at Casting Call Pro and see how yours compares to some on there. If you are a child performer, then a good clear headshot taken at home will be fine at this stage.
