What sort of things would i expect from an audition workshop?x

I think it depends on the context to be honest.

it could be a workshop run by someone giving advice and feedback on how to present yourself at audition
or it could be an audition for a role in a play/film/ on tv where the audition is run as a workshop

If it's the second one, then the format can vary a lot, depending on what it's for, but it will usually involve some warming up exercises and improvisations.
