Help!!! I have been invited to a fancy dress party and the theme is a sixties icon - any ideas which won't involve anything too expensive/complicated gratefully recieived :)
The highway's jammed with broken heroes on a last chance power drive.

Long dress as a hippie, or jeans and painted flowers on your face and flowers in hair.

I thought of that, but wanted something "different" - both mys sisters are going as hippies and was trying to think of an "icon"

How about Sandie Shaw ( barefeet) or Cilla Black. What about Marilyn Monroe she didnt die until 1962 - although you couldnt do the white dress as that was in the 50's.
