That makes it even better! Fingers crossed for her while she waits on the DADA results which I know will be a while yet.

Yay to the offers coming in already! Fantastic news! DS still isn't happy with monologues so hasn’t actually applied anywhere yet which is making me nervous-just want to get the ball rolling!

Well done to those who have had offers- brilliant news!! My dd the same, thought she was sorted but has since changed songs multiple times! I think she is getting there now though and starting to apply. Best of luck everyone!

Well done to those getting early offers! So pleased for them as it takes some strain off the whole audition process! Great news! =D>

Can anyone advise on how strict they are on the 2 minute song length?

Hi- am new to the forum, have been lurking & reading for a while! Currently going through MT degree auditions with Dd …… so far she’s done Urdang, ( has a recall- not really sure what that means, apart from the obvious!) Bird, ( offer of a place) & Laine, (offer of a place , but don’t know how we’ll stand with funding …) Performers in Feb, and possibly Italia Conti too, but not sure!

It’s been a whirlwind, ( 3 auditions in 8 days, all with train journeys & hotels the night before) but she’s enjoyed them all, and is obviously incredibly pleased with the outcomes so far.

I’m sure I’ll have questions as things progress, but equally happy to share any nuggets of wisdom from our experience so far, for those who might be starting their journeys in the New Year.

Good luck to everyone, and have lovely Christmasses!!

Merry Christmas to one and all. Delighted we are going into new year having bitten the bullet and auditioned early. After 2 offers from Conti and Urdang and reserve for Bird, DD has decided on her dream school of Urdang so we are binning all other auditions. Good luck to all still to audition. If anyone starts an urdang chat with those going would be delighted to know.

Lovely to read of the early offers. It's such a confidence boost to them. Congratulations! We went though it last year (all recordings and online interview etc) and it's all worth it when your dc get into the college of their dreams! There's a lot of mutual support on here and I found the site really useful as there's a wealth of knowledge from so many people. Good luck to all the dc going through the process this year!
