Thanks dillydaffy!
She’s got Urdang on Sunday and has an offer from Wilkes. She was also due to do Performers and LIPA but will cancel as Bird or Urdang are her top choices.
Good news for your dd too then! How do they get on the group chat?

Ah good luck then for Sunday- Dd has a recall for Urdang mid Feb,& is still going to do Performers beg of Feb. LIPA is very local to us, so was never in the running for us!!

I think she was sent the link once she’d accepted the offer from Bird, but not 100% sure- will check.

Fantastic news on Bird! Do they do recalls on the same day ? DD has her audition coming up.Do they need smart dress for first audition?

There were no recalls on the day, just separated into 2 groups and they all did the same audition format.
Before the audition started, the principle gave a talk (to parents as well). I wasn’t there but was told he said they would all know their result by Monday (which would be 4 days after the audition).
My dd wore smart/casual clothes for monologue and song (there is guidance for what to wear on the info that was emailed out).
Good luck to your DD! My dd had a really enjoyable day and loved it there. It was so much better to be able to do an in person audition and get a feel for the place. My older dd auditioned last year all online and so was unable to do any on site visits.
The only complaint from my dd was how cold it was as windows/doors all open! So make sure your dd has lots of layers. Also they had to wear masks for the whole time when dancing but it’s a small price to pay to have been there in person 😊
