Hello, we are new. DS doesn't have a show reel, we have done bits from a recent production he's been in.
Do they have to have one to get work?
Also what do you put on a CV when starting out? Thanks

Hi. You don't need a showreel. It's far more likely you'll be asked to make a 'self tape' where your DS will film something specific to the project. This will often give them a much better idea of his suitability than a showreel. Some jobs want a showreel but I've found that if you have a good agent they should be able to get you an audition.

As for CV just put any experience in local productions or school productions, classes taken and any exams/grades. That should be plenty.
