Thanks Katy, I'm hoping DD now gets DaDa for Laines has her funding Audition in April we have fingers toes etc crossed

OMG that is such good news!!! If dd is lucky enough to get a dada then our contribution will come down quite a lot and with two older boys at Uni that is such good news for us

That's useful, thanks Katymac. Good luck to your DDs Pearl and Lorry for a dada! I need to look into maintenance for accommodation for degree courses too. It's so expensive in London!

Hi yorkshiremum,
you probably already know, but the Student Finance website has a calculator to work out how much maintenance your dd will get.
Yep, London is very expensive
DD was offered a DaDA with full maintenance element but it wouldn't have covered her rent so she opted for the degree and gets double the amount - the downside is it is repayable but at least it makes it possible.

Thanks Carriecrafts. I haven't actually checked yet as she still has auditions to go, but I'm thinking the degree route will probably be our best bet anyway.
