Hi,

My daughter attended her first dance festival recently and loved it. She would really like to try some others, can anyone recommend any good festivals especially ones that are good for the novice parent!

We'll need to know which area of the country you're in? Assuming you're talking about ballet/tap etc then in my experience, most festivals are entered through dancing schools. Have a chat with your DSs dancing teacher, they'll know loads. A word of warning though - it's a slippery slope. We got to the stage where we spent 12 weekends a year at festivals and had 32 costumes!
