This is worth trying if you are looking for reading for your stage mad dds. It's about a girl who goes to a vocational school (boarding), a school a bit like Tring/Hammond, and the friends she makes and her various adventures. It describes a lot of ballet/dance training and drama, in particular. I would say best for age group 11-14.

Great - thanks for the tip. Looks a little old for my my daughter at the moment, but we're always on the look out for new things to read. I used to love Enid Blytons St. Clare's and Mallory Towers books when I was younger....
