What an amazing start. I have ordered our tickets for April. DS disappointed he did not get in, but had great fun along the way. one door closes and another one opens. Enjoy the experience and looking forward to regular updates.

Huge congratulations to the 3 who got a yes and keep going to the no's. Its been a great thread to watch and please keep us informed on the journey.

Wow, that's fantastic news for Riverdance fan and SNN (and anyone else I've missed off). 
Fascinated to know how many girls vs. boys there are as the play is mostly male cast. Obviously the girls could play the boys, but I'd be interested to find out.

Thank you Netty - thank you to everyone else sending congratulations! 
Here is a link on Youtube where the Young players were presented to the audience by Dominic Dromgoole last week..
if you want to skip to about 6 mins - you can see them all, including my very bemused DS who didn't know what to do with the roses
as you will see there are a fair few girls, I know the parts are being mixed and matched and my DS is also understudying a female part

My dad said he counted 8 girls and 12 boys

the GYP are part of a blog keeping notes on what they get up to, the rehearsal are intensifying now
I thought I would post the link..
The children are so well looked after, listened to and their input appreciated..they have been incredibly lucky with the creatives they are working with.
tickets are almost sold out now if anyone was thinking of coming along.
