DS has been an extra before, not on something with as many kids like your DD but on that the CD asked for submissions of x amount if boys/girls with a certain look, certain ones picked to attend then on set the director picked who and what.
For crowd scenes it might be different ?
Ask the agent if they know? Take the plunge..go on

It's the 2nd AD who sorts out extras he asks for a certin amount of extras then agent sends over photos of who they think fits the brief then it's the 2nd AD who says who they want. I know your child was told that they wanted to use them a lot, that's the trouble with this industry people say things and don't really mean them should not say any thing like that to a child bad enough saying it to a adult but they understand it better

Completely agree, heartbreaking industry!!!

thanks we changed agents recently and beginning to regret it as she was used loads in the other one. but with this one thursday was only the second time shes been send out with her. ah well you live and learn lol shes 17 so not really a child as such. just hope she can find a "real" job to keep her going through the sumers months before she starts college thanks for your help
