NYMT Easter Residential course at Tonbridge School

Anyone else DCs going to this? My DD booked on and looking forward to it. Would be interested to hear anyone elses experiences of these courses. DD got to recall stage for The other School but was disappointed not be cast. Thought it would be a good idea to go for the course anyway as she will reapply next year. Looks like a great set of tutors and she is excited to work with Michael Jibson who was the Foreman in the Les Mis film - big Les Mis fans in this family. DD has previously played Madame T so score known off by heart by the whole family!

she will have a total ball!!
DS is at Sevenoaks so will not cross paths, but I know she is going to have the time of her life

Hi all my dd is going to be at Sevenoaks too...it's her first time and she's really excited but I'm nervous
As she will have only just turned 12. I'm sure she will have fun ...do they learn a lot or is it more relaxed ?

Looks like a busy schedule working til 9pm each night. She is looking forward to spending time with like minded individuals and I am sure will make loads of friends. Not long now. xx

DD would like to have met your DS RDF, I believe they have briefly corresponded on twitter. Will defo come to see The Other School in August, it will be fab I'm sure. I think in a way she's quite glad she is at Tonbridge as working alongside the kids rehersing for The Other School might have been hard for her - she would love to have been involved. Well done to your son, looks like a fab part for him. xx

I completely understand that !
As DS had something similar occur recently,
I never stop being amazed at how resilient our kids have to be in this business ..
If you do se TOS can you let me know as DS would like to meet her( and possibly grab a hug)
