Hi everyone,

Im applying to drama school for 2013 but am really struggling where to find a contempory monologue that isnt well known and therefore over done. Someone suggested to go to a theatre in London where they have new scripts but i am bristol based and wont be able to get over to London anytime soon as a result of rehearsals and school work! Is there anywhere people could suggest for me to look, I would be hugely grateful?!!

Check out National Theatre

They have an Entry Pass scheme where if your aged 16-25 you get theatre tickets for £5 and they have a bookstore where you get 10% off with your card in store.

Alternatively, check out their website and the link to their shop.

I'd suggest looking at Nick Dear and Dennis Kelly to start off.
