Sorry, a bit OT to the board, as dd isn't involved except peripherally, but we've got Mentorn coming down in a few days to film the initial interview of us for this show ... (we had our own cowboy builder experience in 2008, and have been struggling to get it sorted out ever since..)
Big lump in throat time, not sure we really wanted to be on TV ourselves now! I didn't actually expect them to be interested in us... Ummmm!!

Hmm. Forgot I'd written about this.
I think we can sum up our experience thus: Total mistake.
I'll just add that it seems that TV companies are as easily fooled by cowboy builders as us general public.
One day I'll write it up fully, when everything is finally resolved. It'd make a great TV show, were it not such a farce ..
