Poor DD has lost her dance partner; she is quite upset/sad; she had put a lot of work into him
She wants to advertise for another partner; but tbh I am less sure that's a good course of action - it does look desperate and I worry about how safe it is
Are there any places you can advertise for Ballroom/Lain partners?

				Yes

 I guess so
But with a dad for a dance teacher, 2 scholarships & lots of practise; I had hoped finding a new partner would be easier <sigh>

Thanks - it has been a difficult week
There are some photos of them at the last comp - but I don't think I should post a link as its not fair to do that to 'someone else's child' iyswim

Oh Dear !!
I remember when DS was competing, the partner sagas (luckily not his) were really stressful, sometimes plain nasty and usually ended in bad feeling...
maybe a new start is just what she needs

Do you know DD, DH & I were chatting after the last comp and we had kind of decided to have a word with the dance teacher to see if they had "gone off" the idea of the children dancing together (as he had been eyeing up another girl - backing off was easier)
& then they dump us
We are pragmatic btw - just hurt
