A couple of weeks ago I was approcahed by a casting director looking for a boy to play Ralph Fiennes son. Mine was too young. He is almost 5 and tells everyone he wants to be an actor (oh and Ben 10!)

anyway so I sent hi s picture off to bizzykidz and they have offered him a place and I also approached ann Koska and Sally King and they want to take him on. I havent really applied to anyone else as I dont know who would be best. I dont want him doing photographic work as he wont enjoy it but loves performing. Does anyone have any insight into ann koska and sally King? Dont really want to go to Bizzykidz as I think its too big.

I am an ex film agent for a large US company but we only met kids who had done a lot of work and I tried to stay out of the actor's section and wish my son did not want to do this but he does so hey I am here to support him! Yes I cld ask the people I used to work with and I have spoken to a leading UK actors agent but she doesn't represent children and she admitted that it is a minefield where kids agencies are concerned so I am turning to you guys!

Any advice about where to start would be greatly appreciated

Thanks

Hi

You could join in the conversation here...

viewtopic.php?f=6&t=17044

Or if you type the names of the agencies into the search box in the top RH corner it will take you straight to any previous conversations about them

Good luck - dint forget to let us know how you get on

Deb x

If you search on here in the search box for agents loads should come up. Its a frequently asked quesion - almost weekly, so you could always scroll through until you find the info. I think at age 5 most of the more reputable ones would be suitable.

Good luck!

Penny

My ds was only 6 when he joined them so didn't have any experience professionally.
He was watching CBBC and an advert came on looking for a "Juice Crew" for a Fruitshoot advert and he wanted to apply but was too young!!
He was really confidant and chatty so i decided after lots of research to apply to A&J on a "you never know" basis and it has worked out really well.
