As far as I'm aware there are 2 courses available - the 3 year post 16 diploma in musical theatre or the intensive 1 year foundation diploma in musical theatre. It is intensive by virtue of the fact that it is Monday - Wednesday each week. You can still take dance exams and teaching exams as you learn. I'm not sure about acting or singing exams as my DD only ever asked her friend about dance. DD's friend did the 1 year foundation course 2 years ago. She boarded 4 nights and went home on Thursdays. Initially she planned to take at least 1 A level locally but found she needed all her time for the diploma. This friend loved her time there. She went onto be accepted for the 3 year course diploma at a London college, not sure which one as we lost touch when her younger sister (DD's age) stopped dancing.
