Help with an audition needed?

My little dd has an audition for a student film next week and we have been asked to prepare a short piece that shows her frightened as someone breaks into her home and attacks her father. They want to see how she would react if someone broke into her home, lasting for about 1 minute. This is new ground for us normally it has been a monologue or learned script and we are a little stumped at what she should do.
Any advice is desperatley needed and very welcome.
