What to do, what to do.

I'm currently without an agent, and am looking into getting one again. I'll be going to University in Brighton in September, so I'm just trying to figure out if it'll be worth sorting it out then, or sorting it out now?
There is a audition workshop coming up for Mark Jermin Management in London. I don't know if it's worth doing this now, only to discover that they won't take me because of the distance of where I live now, the distance of where I will live in September or the fact I will be a Uni student.
I'm just generally looking for advice on what I should do and when I should do it.
