Star now guardian information

I saw details of a show that i thought my dd might like to audition for, amateur thing I think, but as she's under 18 they want me to fill in my passport or drivers licence number. Felt a bit worried about entering my passport number, incase of identity fraud. Have other people used their drivers licence details without any problems? i've never used Starnow before. I'm assuming after I've entered my details they will ask for payment ?

That sounds about right, I seem to remember inputting my drivers licence details. It's such a shame they aren't quite as fastidious about details when it comes to people placing adverts on there!

I remember being really worried about this too, but it's been OK. Like Tashy Bear says ... shame employers don't have to register in the same way!

It seems more and more that drivers licence/passports are required incase of identity fraud. Have recently had to send various original documents in the post of student finance and renewal of driving licence. have always sent them recorded delivery but they come back normal post. would be so easy for them to fall into the wrong hands but this seems to be the way it is going

I think it's probs safer to put your driver's licence!

As a victim of id fraud there is no way I would give them my passport or driving licence number. I am a member of Starnow and as I did not see any reason they would ever be in a position to check anything I made my number up.
