Woooohoooo !!! ds has first casting through agent on thursday..... how exciting!!! Would appreciate any advice on what to expect

Depends what it's for! If it's an advert, research the product a bit, if it's a drama or soap, find out about the storyline and main characters. Find out as much as you can from agent about the role so ds knows what they are looking for, and good luck!

My dd has a casting for Casualty on Friday, and she doesn't normally watch it so we'll have to do a bit of homework!

Well Done As for what to expect, depends on what type of casting it is. I am always surprised, sometimes you are prepared to be one of many and there are only a handful seen, another time there are lots of people. Most of the people I have met along the way are friendly and we have made many friends through castings and auditions. Arrive in plenty of time. Make sure your ds is wearing comfortable clothes and take any dance shoes etc you need. Have water and snacks as you would with any other trip. Most of all enjoy the whole experience and don't worry about whether you get through or not. Enjoy the process and you never know you might be surprised and get through. Good luck

hello janine, thank you , my ds was really disappointed when he wasnt accepted by abacus earlier this year, so then to be accepted by D&B, bonnie and betty and csmanagement has given him a real boost to his confidence

i am very impressed by how quick his first casting has been he is really looking forward to it
