Any one heard of auditions for a 7-11 year old girl called Piper for a feature film , it is advertised on Starnow but you have to join starfish models to be put forward!
Character description:
Caucasian. Aged 8 to 9. Upper middle-class, bohemian and well-educated. Must speak RP.
The youngest daughter of this eccentric, slightly bohemian family. She is quirky, spontaneous, brimming with intelligence and imaginative and has a huge heart.
Again, this character survives extreme near-starvation situations in the war - so we need someone who is very slender for this part.
A brilliant role for a brilliant young actress.
Height: Any
Ethnicity: White
Females, aged 7 to 11 from United Kingdom
Min Acting experience: No previous acting experience
Ethnicity: White / Caucasian
Accents spoken: UK Posh

I'm sorry I don't have any more information, but if you have an agent then definitely have a word with them about it to see what they can find out. I find it hard to imagine that Starfish Models will have any kind of sanctioned route to the casting director for this - I am convinced that they won't have any more information than any other agent will have (and probably not as much information as some agents will have
).
Decent agents don't need to trawl Starnow for clients

my dd was seen for this a couple of weeks ago through agents! Must admit very surprised it's on with Starnow!!

I'm not. Starfish Models are touting for business using Starnow. They've found out about the casting but probably haven't got much hope of getting anyone in, but who cares once they've got your money? I smelt a rat when I saw the ££££ registration fee!

Sorry begolina, but it looks as though you need to be with an agent to get a shot at this. I would also suspect that the casting process is now well on its way or has already finished.
I know it's not really my place to answer for Romeha3 (but it's not going to stop me
), but unless the Casting Director has put out a call for submissions from unrepresented actors (an open call), it means that they don't
want submissions from unrepresented actors and are very unlikely to look at them. If they can't find what they are looking for in their first search, then there is always the possibility that they will open it up a bit further.
It's not really appropriate to pass on a casting director's details if you have been called in via an agent because the casting director has deliberately chosen to avoid unsolicited submissions...

My dd has a casting for the role of Piper on Tuesday-obtained via her Agent if this is of any help!
