Playing Shakespeare - Macbeth at the Globe

We went to see a free production of Macbeth(specially adapted for young people) with our two dds this afternoon. Had to stand up for nearly two hours, but it was absolutely brilliant - it's such a beautiful place and they really utilised the space - men clambering down from the balconies, sliding down zip wires and marching in amongst the audience on many occasions! Lady M was fabulous especially when she went crazy at the end. Plenty of blood and an amazing 'ghost' made from black silk - excellent!
