Hey, I too just got an e-mail asking me to contact them for an audition, so I'd be really interested in any information as well.
Thanks.

Hey!
Having looked into them they seem really friendly, and hard working. I rang them up and got told to call back. Then they said they'd call me back. Is this normal. All the waiting is making me nervous...

I told them that he had only just turned 4 and that he couldnt. they have asked me to call back when he can read a little. bless!!! The guy sounded really nice on the phone =D>

A friend of mine has a daughter with Kelly Management and I know that she doesn't attend weekly classes. However she is 19 and an adult on their books, so the compulsory weekly classes may just be for the youth talent that they represent ?

Hi, my ds is with Kelly Management, and they do have to attend the weekly class - it is compulsory as they are taught audition techniques, script sight reading and also casting directors are brought in every now and then.

Hi all

My dd was with Kelly Management until quite recently - we attended lessons on Tuesday evenings in Holborn - admittedly we couldn't go every week due to illness and other commitments, but we tried our best - £10 for the lesson, plus travel. My dd never received one phone call from them and was never sent on one audition with them - she was on their books for nearly a year, then out of the blue we got a telephone call saying that they had someone on their books very similar to my dd and that they could not longer represent her as this other person was getting all the roles - that's okay, I thought, all's fair in love and war etc, but how could they compare that child to mine, when mine was never sent on one audition!

My husband took that call, so he didn't go into too much detail. I then tried to phone but didn't get an answer, so I emailed them - three times now, and have not had the courtesy of a reply.

One of the things that really upsets me, is not spending over £400 in total in attending the lessons as my dd thorougly enjoyed them, learnt a bit, and made some friends, it's the fact that they were down as my dd's Spotlight agent, and when I tried to get the passwords from them to remove them as her agent and then log on and amend those details myself, they just ignored me. I eventually spoke to someone at Spotlight who confirmed that Kelly Management's details have been removed from my dd's account, but it was too late for the book publication to add the new agent details - how convenient is that for Kelly Management - all their "stars" have their agency name, who I am sure, any casting director would rather pick someone with an agent, than someone with just the bog-standard Spotlight email adddress - the timing was perfect for them, and I think that this is disgusting!

I had spoken to Izzy on numerous occasions and Rob too, and I thought they were great, so it just goes to show how wrong some people can be. To this day, I have heard nothing further from them and my dd was absolutely devastated to be kicked off their books. She is now with 2 other agencies and in the space of 2 months, he has been sent on auditions!

The only blessing I think about being kicked off their books is that now we can go (and indeed have gone) multi-agency - I certainly wouldn't recommend joining a sole agency unless they can guarantee to give your child work, but then again, no reputable agency should ever promise that, as it is never guaranteed.

To me, honesty is the best policy, and good manners count for a lot, and having the courtesty of a reply to an email (or three!) is surely not too much to ask for, but in this case, it was.
