My ds was asked to go to this too, but we have decided not to go as the timings don't work for us. Good luck to your DS

Looks like we are destined to bump into each other one day missmoneypenny! I guess we have ds's of a similar age, :)

Is your ds going for the short about the end of the world, also met film school? I think it's called red summer, both my ds's have been invited to go but it's 5 hours after the other casting at the met film school and they can't manage to see us when we are there for the other casting ](*,) and I have to be home by 6pm to collect a little one from nursery so that's not going to work out at all... Ho hum if they are really interested I hope they will manage to be a bit more flexible.

He was invited to that one but we are having a rest from student films lol - he has done a few, and they were fantastic experience, but the fares and other costs really mount up! Good luck, hope you get it sorted - I am surprised they aren't offering a bit more flexibility!

I understand what you mean about the costs, I am starting to think that if they can't get the part based on their showreel then too bad. Are you with an agency, I am going to start looking into having my ds's join one if possible, but I'm not sure where to start.
