Hi

We have the option to self tape rather than initial face to face casting with CD. I'm tempted as it would save a serious rejuggling of schedules (not to mention 5hrs on the train!).
Can sending a video be a good thing? Has anyone done this and been successful? I don't want to take what seems the easier option and for it to go against DD.

I think self tape will happen more and more and we have had work from it if that helps.

Thanks Titania! Agent not keen so I'm going against their recommendation. It feels right thing to do on this occasion for us but not sure if I'm alienating agent by doing so.
