I went to go and see this with the school on Thursday, and I can honestly say it was the best thing I've ever seen

I cried nearly all the way through it, but mostly with laughter! The boy who played Billy was Rhys Yeomans and he was absolutely amazing!

I think it was after the song Electricity, he finished and everyone started clapping and gave him a standing ovation, he couldn't stop giggling! He was brilliant

I'd definetly recommend it

Yes it was in London

In the Victoria Palace I think it was! The seats were quite cheap too, we were in the grand circle and I think they were around £25?

Would love to see his "Billy"

Ds and I saw him in his dance school show (Centrepointe in Manchester) a few times while he was in training.

Lovely to meet you last night even if it was brief.
Your ds was adorable, such a fantastic small boy
Well done to him, especially with the nerves of people in especially to watch him.

Thanks Caz
Well all the 'small boys' in it are 7 or 8 and yes there is very frequent swearing. mostly goes over thir heads though. the only things that I suppose a 9 yr old might question are the kiss on the cheek between the two principals and the dancing in dresses whereas these have gone unremarked upon by ds and his twin sister.
p.s. got to victoriapalacetheatre own website and check out front stalls availability at £19.50 Mon -Thurs and £27.50 Fri-Sat as they are unbelievable seats for the price

My ds went to see Billy Elliot again yesterday. He went with his theatre group who are one of the companies performing Billy (youth theatre) in June this year. He said the show was amazing but afterwards they had a question and answer session with the director and Dean, who played Billy. He was so excited coming home. He said that they were both really friendly and very interesting to talk to. Gave them lots of little tips for their performance and by the sound of it, were with them quite some time. Certainly made his day-he was up for tap rehearsals without me even calling him this morning
