ISTD v IDTA

What are the differences between these two exam boards? I have always wondered but never quite found out....

not sure but think we have had this queerie before,maybe that was RAD and ISTD

IDTA I think originated more in the ballroom/latin styles. ISTD was more traditional ballet/tap/jazz and they originated the modern syllabus. In terms of ballet you can do Imperial or Cecetti syllabus.
Of course as time has gone on the boards branch out into more styles and end up covering most of the styles.
