 yay! so proud

glad we didnt have to wait long to find out!-really quick reply!hope you get good news too xx

Congrats! Ditto for us too. (Hope that doesn't mean they are actually one of those unfussy agencies... )
We've another agency audition in August, and not yet heard from another after initial submission. Just wondering if we need to hold off and see if we have a wider choice :-)

So proud of my DD who was accepted after this latest round of auditions.
She wasn't terribly well motivated as it came on the back of a 'no' from RKA and the usual feature film silences..
luckily, they saw what they needed
Excited now for more opportunities..

yay welldone!!:) thats great news! lol i hope thatt doesnt mean theyr unfussy too tho lol theyvsaid on their email they only take around 3% of people who apply! lol
ohhhh you could wait for more options (i did that with this one and its paid off

)but they say you need to respondwithin 10 days or you have to completely reapply :/ so you might lose ur place , we've been accepted at others but BoBe were one of my top choices so i think we'll accept this one x

I have to say, every time I've emailed them either a question or comment, they've replied personally and very quickly.
This I like.
Several other agencies I've written to, including her current one, either take forever or don't reply at all, which is very irritating.

DD doesn't have any professional experience but has been doing drama and music exams and shows at school, and with a youth theatre co. this year so plenty of 'stage hours'.
Its only a year since I signed on this site, have learnt so much, researched so much and absorbed the experiences good and bad of napm children shared here...that is worth years of experience!
she has done quite a few auditions for roles - for feature films, shorts, and plays. And for another big agent - all no's. there are plenty of rebuffs along the way - treat them like the big waves, and just get straight back on with it -
overnight stardom is like a lottery win....the rest of us are just plodding along one step at a time......welcome!

Tiddler's been going to stagecoach since she was 4, and loves it. She often gets picked for principle roles in their end of term plays, which I hope means she's doing well! She did a couple of "real" jobs, which she really enjoyed, but both were a year ago now. (Still see her on CBeebies every weekend, though, which always gives us a thrill!) So we signed up to their agency in the hope of getting more, but had very few auditions and no actual work from them although we did get close with a pencil last month.
