Hi all, just joined this post, my ds has been offered a 90% fee reduction place at Urdang on the 3 year diploma course. Really wants to accept the offer but we will have to fund his living expenses and that wont be easy. Congrats to all who have received offers so far x

Dd2 has been offered a place at Dance Academy South West (her back up plan). She missed out on almost a year of ballet classes last year due to a rapid growth spurt which led to her developing Osgood Schlatters Disease. She started back fully in September but I don't think she has regained her core strength yet which she lost during her growth spurt (she's now 5ft 8.5ins). At least in going to the college she will gain strength (body conditioning/pilates weekly) plus a full timetable She has also applied to RCS but we're waiting for a date.
Congratulations to all those with 'Yes's The 'no's are just not yet.

Thats a great bursary joemill, congratulations. Hope you can work something out with the living costs.

And well done to your dd2 JayLou, glad things are falling into place.

Hi all, I've been following this thread with great interest and thought I'd just pop in to say congratulations to all those with offers - it's fantastic to see all the hard work paying off, and good luck to all those still going - the finishing post is in sight and I hope you all get to where you want to go

I've only ever applied to one school a year, and that was stressful enough so I really can't imagine how those of you going to 8+ auditions are managing to keep going!

well done to your ds joemill - a fantastic bursary! well done also to your dd jaylou - I hope she will be back to full fitness/strength very soon

I have to say though I'm starting to feel stressy & a bit panicky now; I know I shouldn't but I am I can't control it

Things are moving on the dada front now katymac so hopefully not much longer, have you heard anything from the colleges about a dada yet?

Nothing & with someone having a DaDA offer from Millennium last week - it would make me understandably stressy I think

Your dd has other options doesn't she if she isn't lucky enough to get a dada hasn't she? The
Laine recall auditions are next week once they are over I things will get more settled as a lot of people seem to be waiting on them. Bird have said it could be June before they make decisions as they don't finish auditioning till may

Yes but financially it would be very difficult - not impossible but very hard
