I pretty sure I read on here (probably years ago now) that UCAS point gained from music exams can not be counted towards the requisite total required. Therefore, if for instance, you needed AAB, you couldn't say it doesn't matter if they get ABB because they already have ...UCAS points from their grade ... piano exam and ...UCAS points from their Grade... singing exam. These are almost considered as extras/bonus points, maybe what gives them the edge over someone who has the same A level grades!
