It's good to hear that your DS has come through his 'wobbly time' and is keen to continue. Good for you for supporting him so well and involving the chaperones too. They seem very switched on and I'm sure that they'll continue to look out for him.
New things, and change, are tricky for all of us, however big or small we are, even if they are things that we really want. It's OK to change your mind, and it's also OK to take a good, hard look and decide to go ahead.
I'm looking forward to hearing all about his adventures. I'm sure he'll do well - he clearly has talent, and with a caring and supportive mum like you, the world is his oyster!
