Dd has just said that they have to clap the beat in tap and Theatrecraft exams (IDTA) if that helps.

I'm still here too and please don't think we're ungrateful - it's just that there's quite a close community of ballet dancing parents on the other board, and also others who don't have children so may not think to visit here - but who can give advice from a ballet teacher/ex-professional/ballet critic point of view.

I'm still here - but since I do not have a dancing child, nor do I live in the UK - I usually am only able to reply to technical questions concerning dance - specifically ballet.
