Hi all
Anyone fancy phoning their agent to ask JR what the hold up is?!I think we deserve an update if nothing else!

It's getting a bit siilly now isn't it? On the plus side, if none of us have heard anything, we must all still be in the running? Unless of course they've canned it and just not bothered to let us know...
DD's Agent is back from her holiday today - she's very proactive so I'm sure she will phone.

After a final recall session it's down to the creative team to make the final decisions ie. the director etc and not the cd. Jessica is always so prompt when giving news. The chances are that the creative team are still making decisions not just for the children but the adults too and this takes time. The waiting is so hard I know but I do know if there was news then JR would be straight on the phone/email to agents and she is likely to be pressing them from her side for a decision. Hope this helps a little.

And so, another weekend looms.
I really don't know what to do - DD breaks up from school in 9 days and I need to book childcare for the holidays (I work full-time)... I've been hanging on to see if she gets into the workshop and find out when it is so I can work things around it, but I really can't wait much longer or there will be no places left in holiday club! It's also getting a bit late to pull out of the EuroDisney trip with her dance school if the dates clash. I'm really reluctant to just pull her out of the running at this stage though when we're so close!
AARRRGGGHHHHH!!!!

I know the feeling Ginisclan!! I have the same problem but don't want to tempt fate by changing anything. I expect the dates will be rescheduled maybe if there is a delay and if they want the same children that may be in the running they'll have to (hopefully) work around when they are free. The children still waiting were auditioned for particular dates so I can't see them just expecting 10 families to be free for the whole of August without giving some feedback. I agree with Emi's mum though that JR is renowned for letting people know either way. Patience is a virtue (so they say). Enjoy the sunny weekend and see what the new week brings

Our agent emailed JR and they sent email back asking availability for new dates in Aug. Still not clear from the email who they want.

Ah thanks for sharing that Astrid,
Our agent re-checked DS' availability for new dates as well so, we are still no closer to knowing if we're in our out

I'd like to say that if they are checking with your agent whether you are still free- that this sounds promising. However, I've learned in this game that anything is possible, so don't want to get your hope up.
I'm keeping everything crossed for you - it's so horrible all this waiting, not knowing and never getting feedback.
My best to you and hoping you both get positive news soon.
