A 'Fry or Laurie' of the future, I think!! Great stuff!

On Mother's Day my dd took part in a talent contest run by Miss African Spirit, a charity that raises money for disadvantaged children in Africa. (You didn't have to be African to take part) Apart from money prizes, the winner gets to sing at the glitzy African Beauty Pageant in June.

She performed these two songs, (they are out of synch, don't know why, we are still trying to get it sorted with the organisers)
and despite doing a great job, wasn't placed in final three.

However, the lady who runs the charity has since contacted me to ask dd to sing at the pageant anyway!!

Wow what a talented little girl. Amazing to be able to play the piano and sing so well at that age. You must be very proud of her Mummy !

This is probably not what you normally get to see in this Youtube bit, but I'd originally done a video talking about Cyber Bullying and got approached by an organisation called Bullying UK, asking if they could put it on their website for a few days while they were advertised! I just found out yesterday that they want to put it on a DVD they're making along with a few other people!

Aww, thank you! It was my first time doing anything like acting online! Really glad people found it powerful! I'm a lot better now than I used to be and I thank acting for that.
