How fantastic, she must be so thrilled. Good on her for persevering. DD got turned down for GSA her first choice, although they still have her foundation application. I said if you get no offers you just apply again and again, so determination wins and your DD is proof!

She got an offer from an Institute of Contemporary Theatre on their MT course today, in Brighton. She’s not blown over, but loved the audition and teachers.

Still waiting on others.

DD had an offer from Chichester MT, does anyone know much about them please?

I liked the Campus with its student hub, but didn’t really get a good look around.

Thanks

@K8T, I can't answer your question, I'm afraid, but congratulations to your daughter!

Hi, anyone on here know anything about the IAB? It's been recommended to DS by a couple of teachers and intrigued to know of anyone's experiences.

Hi all.

A question please? My dd is over the moon to have received an offer of a place on the Bird MT Degree course. She needs to accept by 20 February. How does this affect her other applications - she has other auditions lined up (Bird was her first) and hasn’t decided yet where she would like to go if she gets other offers. She applied to most through UCAS and would be horrified if accepting meant that her other applications had been cancelled. X

Hiya, there’s no deposit required for Bird so you can just accept by email and decline at a later date. From what I recall, you get a green tick on your UCAS list of unis, but until you have received responses on all your UCAS applications, you do not have to make a final choice on UCAS.
Your dd should be very proud of herself, so accept Bird and confidently look forward to smashing remaining auditions! 💪🏻 😊
