VOICE COACH

Post by tracie »

Hi all,
Wonder if anyone can help. I would like to find a voice coach for my son. I need someone who can help him with an American accent. Can anyone give me advice or numbers. We are in North West but we can skype etc. Thank you all.

If you can't find anyone just search on u tube- there are loads of video tutorials. That's how my children learned.
I'm swanning around trying to get the hang of all this! Thanks for your help!

There is an American Accent Workshop taking place in Harrogate on the 1st July and on 2nd September. Run by professional American Actor Bryan Bounds who runs The American School of Acting. This is a school for young people who want to learn Method acting techniques amongst other things (but definitely not all improv). He was helping so many young people with their American Accents for auditions and self tapes that he decided to put on a workshop. As far as we know this is the only workshop of its type for young people in the UK. There are some spaces left.
